ALCATEL ONE TOUCH Wins 2 iF Design Awards
Out of 2,923 entries, ALCATEL ONE TOUCH has won 2 iF product design awards 2012 for its mobile handsets—the ONE TOUCH 818 and the ONE TOUCH 355 PLAY, and will be recognized with the renowned iF label. The products were entered in the Telecommunications category.
The ONE TOUCH 818 has an eye-catching form—a slim design with soft-touch finishing, metallic colors and a 3.2 inch touch display. The phone combines ergonomics with easy handling and is thus geared to users who value a product that makes mobile technology easily accessible. The design of the ONE TOUCH 355 PLAY is inspired by sporty sneaker colors and forms for a younger audeince. Thanks to the QWERTY keyboard, this phone is suitable for fast messaging and, with its small dimensions, fits in every pocket.
“We attribute this award to the strength of our product design platform and the commitment ALCATEL ONE TOUCH has to creating products that are simple, easy-to-use, colorful and accessible. On behalf of ALCATEL ONE TOUCH, our entire research and design team and the company worldwide, we are excited and honored to be the recipient of the iF design award” shared Paola Pinnavaia, Design Director, ALCATEL ONE TOUCH.
For 58 years, the iF product design award has been an internationally recognized label for award-winning design and the iF brand has become a symbol for outstanding achievements in design. Today, iF is represented in Hannover and Munich (Germany), Taiwan, Korea and Brazil. The award ceremony will take place during Munich Creative Business Week, the 10th of February 2012 at BMW World in Munich, Germany.
